Smart BMS CL 12-100 - 12 V battery management system

Smart BMS CL 12-100 is a battery management system for Victron Smart LiFePO4 batteries, designed for 12 V systems with a 12 V alternator. It monitors every cell and disconnects the alternator, the charge sources or the loads in the event of too low a voltage, too high a voltage or overtemperature, and the dedicated input limits the alternator current.

Smart BMS CL 12/100 is a battery management system for smart lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. It has been designed specifically for 12 V systems with a 12 V alternator.

The BMS CL 12/100 monitors and protects every individual cell of the battery (or battery bank) and will disconnect the alternator, charge sources or DC loads in the event of low battery voltage, high battery voltage or excessive temperature.

The dedicated alternator input provides current limiting and one-way flow from the alternator to the battery, so an alternator of any size (and a starter battery) can be safely connected to the Smart Lithium battery or batteries.

The BMS is also equipped with a remote shutdown connector, to switch off the BMS (and the system) via a remote switch, and a pre-alarm contact, to give a warning signal before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system.
