Deye DGWA1-ACDC-18K is a wall-mounted hybrid AC/DC mono split air conditioner of 18,000 BTU, with a cooling capacity of 5070 W and a heating capacity of 6100 W, for rooms of 20-30 m2. It runs on solar panels (80-380 V DC) or on the grid, needs no batteries, and has a DC inverter compressor, a built-in solar MPPT and Wi-Fi control.
Deye DGWA1-ACDC-18K is a wall-mounted hybrid AC/DC mono split air conditioner of 18,000 BTU that runs directly on solar panel energy (80-380 V DC) and switches automatically to the AC grid when there is not enough sun. It has a DC inverter compressor, a solar MPPT built into the outdoor unit and Wi-Fi control.
The unit uses hybrid AC/DC technology: when the solar panels produce enough energy the compressor is powered directly from direct current, and when solar energy drops the unit switches automatically to the AC grid. It needs no batteries; the solar MPPT and the inverter are built into the outdoor unit. 3-6 panels of 330 W connected in series are recommended.
The DC inverter compressor adjusts its speed to demand, for precise temperature control and low consumption, with an electronic expansion valve. The unit has an intelligent display, compressor delayed-restart protection and Wi-Fi control through a smartphone app. It is a split system of two units, indoor and outdoor, connected by refrigerant pipes.
