It is designed for 48 V systems, supports 100 A continuous and 250 A peak, and connects via M8 terminals. It is unidirectional: it handles either the current to the loads or the current from a charger.
BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from all non-essential loads before it is completely discharged (which can damage it) or before there is insufficient energy left to start the engine.
BatteryProtect is a unidirectional device. It can handle current in one direction only, either the current to a load or the current from a charger, but not both at the same time. In addition, current can only flow from the battery terminal to the load terminal. When used with a load, the battery is connected to the battery terminal, and when used with a charger, the charger is connected to the battery terminal.
