Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-100A is a battery protection device that disconnects non-essential loads before the battery is completely discharged or can no longer start the engine. The connect and disconnect thresholds are set via Bluetooth, or one of the nine preset levels is selected with the programming pin. It supports 100 A continuous and 600 A peak.
Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it is left with insufficient power to start the engine.
You can set any of the required connect/disconnect levels when using Bluetooth to program the Smart BatteryProtect. Alternatively, one of the nine predefined connect/disconnect levels can be set with the programming pin (see the manual).
If necessary, Bluetooth can be disabled.
Smart BatteryProtect is a unidirectional device. It can handle current in one direction only, either the current to a load or the current from a charger, but not both at the same time. In addition, current can only flow from the IN (input) terminal to the OUT (output) terminal. When used with a load, the battery is connected to the IN terminal, and when used with a charger, the charger is connected to the IN terminal.
