Quattro 24/3000/70-50/50 - Inverter/charger with two AC inputs 24 V, 3 kVA

Quattro 24/3000/70-50/50 is an inverter/charger with two AC inputs for 24 V batteries, combining a 3 kVA pure sine-wave inverter and an adaptive charger with a maximum charging current of 70 A. It can be connected to two independent AC sources and switches automatically to the active one. It features PowerAssist hybrid technology and a UPS function, and communicates via VE.Bus.

The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore power and a generator, or two generators, and connects automatically to the active source. The main output works without interruption: in a grid failure or when shore power or the generator is disconnected, the Quattro takes over supplying the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, so computers and other electronic equipment keep running.

The second output is active only when AC power is present on one of the inputs. Loads that must not discharge the battery, such as air conditioning or a water heater, can be connected to it. The PowerAssist function prevents overloading of a limited AC source: first the battery charging is reduced, then the source output is boosted with energy from the battery. Up to 6 Quattro units can operate in parallel; three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.

Coupled with a GX device (for example Cerbo GX), the system can be monitored and controlled locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet, with the free VRM app and the VRM portal, from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC. The level of control is extensive, from adjusting the unit to automatically starting a backup generator.
