EasySolar 12/1600/70-16 MPPT 100/50 combines in a single enclosure a MPPT 100/50 solar charge controller, an inverter/charger and an AC connection box. It operates at 12 V, has a continuous power of 1600 VA (1300 W) and allows photovoltaic panels to be connected through MC4 connectors.
The solution is easy to install, with a reduced number of cables. The solar charge controller is a Blue Solar MPPT 100/50, to which up to three strings of photovoltaic modules can be connected with three sets of MC4 connectors (PV-ST01). The inverter/charger is a MultiPlus Compact 12/1600/70 or 24/1600/40, and the MPPT controller and the inverter/charger use the same DC battery cables (included). The batteries can be charged with solar energy and/or with AC energy from the grid or from a generator.
The AC connection box includes a residual current device (RCD) of 30 mA / 16 A and four AC outputs protected by two 10 A and two 16 A circuit breakers. One of the 16 A outputs is controlled by the AC input and is active only when alternating current is available. PowerAssist technology protects the shore power supply or the generator against overload by adding extra energy through the inverter when needed.
