Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15A isolated - Isolated DC-DC charger with Bluetooth

Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15A isolated is a professional isolated, adaptive 3-stage DC-DC charger with built-in Bluetooth. It has an input voltage of 8-17 V, an output voltage of 24.2 V and a continuous output current of 15 A at 40 °C, and is intended for dual-battery systems.

The converter can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and controlled remotely with a remote on/off switch. Any phone, tablet or other Bluetooth-compatible device can be used for monitoring, changing settings and updating the charger when new features become available. The battery charging algorithm is configurable, or a fixed output can be selected.

The adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm (bulk, absorption, float) shortens the absorption time after shallow discharges of lead-acid batteries to prevent overcharging, and extends it automatically after a deep discharge. For lithium batteries the absorption time is fixed, 2 hours by default. The engine-running detection mechanism ensures compatibility with the smart alternator.

The charger is used in dual-battery systems in vehicles or on boats, where the alternator and the starter battery charge the service battery, and it is suitable for lead-acid and lithium batteries. An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel; full rated power is available up to 40 °C, and the maximum operating temperature is 55 °C. A remote on/off switch or a relay contact connects to a two-pole connector.
