Victron Phoenix Inverter 48/3000 is a pure sine wave inverter with SinusMax technology, with 3000 VA (2400 W) continuous power at 25 °C, for 48 V batteries and with an aluminium enclosure. It has a VE.Bus port and can run in parallel or in a three-phase configuration.
The Phoenix range is designed for professional loads and produces a true sine wave with optimised efficiency. Hybrid HF technology results in a compact, lightweight product able to power any load. A feature of SinusMax technology is its very high starting power, suitable for demanding loads such as refrigeration compressors and electric motors. Up to 6 units can be operated in parallel for more power; for example, six 24/5000 units deliver an output power of 24 kW / 30 kVA. Three-phase operation is also possible.
The inverter has a VE.Bus port; connecting it to a computer requires the MK3-USB interface (VE.Bus to USB), and the parameters are customised with VictronConnect or VEConfigure: output voltage and frequency, overvoltage and undervoltage settings and relay programming. The relay can signal alarm conditions or start a generator. The inverter can be connected to a GX device (for example Cerbo GX) for monitoring and control. If an automatic transfer switch is required, we recommend the MultiPlus, which includes one and has a switching time of under 20 milliseconds.
