Victron Phoenix Inverter 12/3000 Smart is a sine wave inverter with an all-metal case, with a continuous power of 3000 VA (2400 W) at 25 °C, for 12 V batteries, with built-in Bluetooth and a VE.Direct port. It is configured with VictronConnect.

The Phoenix Inverter Smart is built on the Phoenix inverter platform, with proven, field-tested reliability, and has an all-metal case. The full-bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has proven its reliability over the years; the inverter is short-circuit proof and protected against overheating caused by overload or high ambient temperature. The models are available in 1600 VA, 2000 VA, 3000 VA and 5000 VA versions for 12, 24 or 48 V systems.

The built-in Bluetooth allows full configuration with a smartphone or tablet through VictronConnect: low battery voltage alarm, shut-down and restart levels, dynamic cut-off (shut-down level depending on the load), output voltage 210-245 V, frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz, ECO mode activation and the alarm relay. The VE.Direct port can be connected to a computer (a VE.Direct to USB interface cable is required) for configuration and monitoring.

The high starting power allows power supplies for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools to be operated. In ECO mode, the inverter goes into standby when the load drops below a preset value and switches on briefly every 2.5 seconds (adjustable). A remote on/off switch or a relay contact can be connected to the two-pin connector. To transfer the load to another AC source, the Filax automatic transfer switch (switching time under 20 milliseconds) or a MultiPlus with a built-in transfer switch is recommended.
