Quattro 48/8000/110-100/100 - Inverter/charger with two AC inputs 48 V, 8 kVA

Quattro 48/8000/110-100/100 is an inverter/charger with two AC inputs for 48 V batteries, combining a 8 kVA pure sine wave inverter and an adaptive charger with a maximum charge current of 110 A. It can be connected to two independent AC sources and switches automatically to the active one. It features PowerAssist hybrid technology, a UPS function and communicates via VE.Bus.

The Quattro can be connected to two independent alternating current sources, for example shore power and a generator, or two generators, and connects automatically to the active source. The main output works without interruption: in the event of a mains failure, or when the shore power source or generator is disconnected, the Quattro takes over the supply of the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, so that computers and other electronic equipment keep running.

The second output is active only when alternating current is present on one of the inputs. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as an air conditioner or a water heater, can be connected to it. The PowerAssist function prevents overloading of a limited alternating current source: first the battery charging is reduced, then the output of the source is boosted with energy from the battery. Up to 6 Quattro units can run in parallel; three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.

Combined with a GX device (for example Cerbo GX), the system can be monitored and controlled locally (LAN) or remotely over the internet, with the free VRM app and the VRM portal, from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC. The level of control is extensive, from adjusting the device to automatically starting a backup generator.
