The Orion 12/24-20 IP20 DC-DC converter efficiently converts the 12 V voltage to 24 V, with a continuous output current of 20 A at 40 °C. It has fan-assisted cooling, remote on/off terminals and can be connected in parallel.
The remote on/off control eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring and can be operated with a low-power switch or with the engine's on/off switch. Models with an adjustable output can also be used as a battery charger, for example for a 12 V starter battery or for an accessory in a 24 V system.
Up to five units can be connected in parallel to increase the output current. The delivery includes four insulated 6.3 mm female crimp Faston connectors.
