The Victron Energy 100A:50mA current transformer for MultiPlus-II with a 5 m cable is used together with MultiPlus-II and MultiGrid-II to implement the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions and to optimize self-consumption by detecting the external current.
The current transformer is an external sensor that provides the inverter/charger with information about the current in the installation. On this basis, PowerControl and PowerAssist are implemented and self-consumption is optimized.
