Venus GX - Communication Centre for System Monitoring

The Venus GX is a GX device that serves as the communication centre of the installation. It allows interaction with all system components, and live data and settings can be accessed from a smartphone or another device through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal.

The Venus GX provides an instant overview of the system: the battery state of charge, current energy consumption, energy harvested from the photovoltaic system and energy supplied from the grid or a generator. Through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, the controls and settings of the connected components can be accessed remotely, with diagnostic checks and analysis of archived data. The device can be programmed to start the generator automatically, triggered by low battery voltage, high demand or the state of charge.

In energy storage systems (ESS) it keeps the backup batteries at 100 %, steps in during power outages and redirects excess solar energy to self-consumption. It can remotely monitor the electrical installation of a boat or caravan, communicates with equipment from other manufacturers and allows tank levels to be checked.
