This policy describes the cookies and other trackers used on www.kitoffgrid.fr, published by Marny Energy, and how to manage your choices, in accordance with Article 82 of French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (the "Loi Informatique et Libertés") and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Our other processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that the website you visit saves in your browser. Other techniques, such as the browser's local storage ("localStorage"), can also save information on your device. Some of these trackers are essential for the shop to work; the others may only be used with your consent.
2. How we ask for your choice
On your first visit, a banner offers "Accept all", "Reject" and "Settings". Until you choose, only the necessary trackers are used. Continuing to browse does not mean consent, and rejecting does not prevent you from using the website. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is kept for 12 months (6 months if you rejected); you are then asked again, as you are when we change the list of trackers.

4. Browser local storage (shop features)
Some features save information only in your browser. This information is not sent to us and does not identify you.

5. Statistics and marketing cookies
The "Settings" panel has a "Statistics" category (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) and a "Marketing" category (Google Ads, Meta pixel). At present none of these tools is enabled on kitoffgrid.fr: your consent does not cause any third-party cookie to be set. If we enable them, they will only load with your consent, this policy will be updated with the list of the cookies concerned and you will be asked for your choice again.
6. Cookie-free audience measurement
To know how many people visit our website and which pages and products are viewed, we use our own audience-measurement tool, which sets no cookies and reads nothing from your device. Your IP address is used only momentarily to determine the country and is not stored; a visitor is counted once per day through a temporary code that changes every day and cannot identify you or recognise you from one day to the next. We keep only aggregated statistics (for example the number of visits per page and a cumulative click map per page type), for at most 13 months, for our own use, and never share them with third parties. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Embedded videos
Some product pages contain a video hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). When the page is displayed, YouTube receives your device's IP address and technical information about your browser and may use its own trackers, in accordance with its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
8. Links to social networks
The links to our social network pages (for example Instagram or TikTok) are plain links: nothing is loaded from these platforms until you click them. Once you are on their websites, their own policies apply.
9. Browser settings
You can delete or block cookies and clear site data at any time in your browser settings. Without the necessary cookies, the shopping cart and the customer account do not work.
