What is the difference between Cerbo GX and Cerbo GX MK2?
- The new model, Cerbo GX MK2, comes with two functional CAN bus ports named VE.Can 1 and VE.Can 2, unlike the previous version which had one VE.Can and one BMS-Can port.
- The VE.Can 1 benefits from isolation, a major improvement over previous models, which did not have isolated Canbus ports.
- The RJ-45 jacks have been rotated 180 degrees to make connecting and disconnecting cables easier.
- All three USB ports are now fully functional. In the case of the previous model, only two were functional, while the third was dedicated exclusively to power (for the GX Touch).
- In addition, the digital inputs now have the ability to count pulses.
Dashboards and system monitoring
This completely new communication center allows you to constantly and perfectly control your system, wherever you are, and maximize its performance. Simply connect via our Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal or access directly using the separate GX Touch, an MFD or the VictronConnect App thanks to its added Bluetooth capability. This latest addition to the GX range combines the best in connectivity, redefining smart power solutions in every way.
Perfect monitoring and control
Instantly monitor battery charge status, power consumption, energy harvesting from PV, generator and grid, or check tank levels and temperature measurements. Easily control the input current limit of the shore power, start/stop (automatic) generator(s), or change any setting to optimize the system. Track alerts, perform diagnostic checks, and resolve challenges remotely. Cerbo GX turns any energy challenge into an effortless experience.
Maximize your system performance.
Cerbo GX maximizes the performance of your systems components in real time and keeps them in perfect harmony. With its Dual Core processor and the addition of an additional CAN-bus port, you can now support even larger systems; keep a close eye on managed batteries (lithium), while the second port can support up to 25 VE.Can solar chargers connected simultaneously. New NMEA 2000-out support makes the GX easy to integrate into any marine network. Four tank ports and four temperature ports, as well as 3 VE.Direct ports, 3 USB ports, 4 digital inputs and 2 relays allow you to extend control to a new level. Maximizing system performance has never been easier.
Expand your vision
The new GX Touch display (optional) allows you to have an instant overview of your system and adjust settings in the blink of an eye. Its ultra-slim 5 or 7-inch water-resistant design, top-mount configuration, and simple installation bring a lot of flexibility to creating a clear and clean dashboard.
Simple installation and configuration
Cerbo GX is now optimized to meet more than the standards of installation professionals. The device can easily be mounted on a DIN-Rail (with the small DIN35 adapter, not included) and its separate touchscreen can now be screwed to the top of a dashboard, eliminating the need to create perfect cutouts (as in Color Control GX) and is connected by a single cable, eliminating the worry of bringing many cables to a dashboard. Its new Bluetooth function allows quick connection and setup via our VictronConnect app.
Overcome any energy challenge
Cerbo GX serves endless purposes, extending seamless control to the most diverse applications. For solutions that include generators, such as marine, or Off-grid & Backup, it will automatically start/stop the generator or delay ignition until the end of "quiet" periods. For energy storage systems, it keeps backup batteries at 100%, kicks in during power outages, and redirects excess (solar) energy to self-consumption, saving money. For recreational vehicles and emergency vehicles, it maintains the perfect functioning of vital systems.
